Cutting Costs with C.O.R.N.
A great way to save some money and time is to institute a weekly Clean Out the Refrigerator Night (C.O.R.N.) for dinner. This is particularly great for evenings that are packed full of other activities. Even elementary school kids can heat something in the microwave. Less wasted leftovers and you get the night off from cooking!
A tip from Detra for those who shop at Food Lion-
"Thanks for the tips. Just wanted to share that Food Lion has mixers called "No Worries" in the frozen section that are $1.00 each. There is a coupon on the freezer door for $1.00 off each one... SO FREE MIXERS!!!!!"
Now if we could just find a way to get free booze....
